Nu-Vision Ministry Canada is hosting a fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018! Come to a spaghetti dinner at the Italian Cultural Centre and help us celebrate our 20th anniversary in Thunder Bay! Meet many members from over twenty local teams who have worked alongside our global partners on three different continents. Doors open 5:30 PM, Dinner 6:00 PM and an entertaining program begins at 7:15 PM including a concert by an exciting new Canadian vocalist with roots in Zimbabwe and Thunder Bay! Shingai will present ‘An Evening of Songs and Stories’. Deadline to purchase dinner tickets is Aug. 30. An Evening of Songs and Stories by a new Canadian vocalist, Shingai, will be held at the Italian Cultural Centre at 7:15 PM on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018. Shingai has strong connections in Thunder Bay since her father, Geoffrey Chada, travelled from Africa as one of the first international students to Lakehead University in 1969. Her parents were married in Thunder Bay and the family eventually returned to Zimbabwe after the country’s independence.
Don’t miss this one hour program, preceded by a brief visual flashback on the work of Nu-Vision Ministry Canada.
